Club Tropicana, drinks are free, Fun and sunshine, there’s enough for everyone…
The weather is warmer and I don’t know about you but I love it. Bright colors are so underrated (Why did I go from Club Tropicana to that… don’t worry stay with me). I say this because everyone usually has a dark color like black as a go to. I am also guilty of this. For instance if I am feeling bloated, I steer towards black. But who said that is the rule? Yes darker colors can be slimming, but something bright is always a mood lifter.
I have a few style icons and Solange Knowles is one of them (again stay with me), in fact I would say she’s in the top 3. The way she is able to take old skool fashion and color and almost tell a story when she wears it is amazing. I have yet to see something she has worn that I don’t like. Her ability to take risks with clothes and shoes is fantastic. She is a true fashionista and todays look is inspired by her use of color.
I bought these pants over a year ago, and never wore them. I have a terrible habit of doing that by the way. The other day while roaming through Forever 21 looking for accessories, I saw this bright orange jumper (sweater). I immediately thought that it would go with these pink pants, which is weird because I forgot I had them untill that moment. Thank goodness the fashion gods made me buy that orange top because a Club Tropicana outfit came out of it. If you don’t know that song, I’m not sure we can be friends.
Anywhoo, Stripe shoes seem like the perfect match for this look. I mean why stop at just the bright pink pants, orange jumper and red tinted shades…And just like that I’m ready for spring.
Hope you guys like, see below pieces to recreate this look.
Thanks for stopping by.
